LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Iwao Takamoto, the animator who designed the cartoon canine Scooby-Doo as well as characters on such shows as “The Flintstones” and “The Jetsons,” died on Monday after suffering a massive coronary, a spokesman said. He was 81.
